Dear Supporters,
Happy Sunday from the team here at Scotland Watch Company.
As you may know, each variation of the Saltire Collection has been paired with its own strap variation.
Saltire Day with a dark blue crocodile leather strap,
Saltire Night with a stainless steel bracelet, and
Northern Lights with a tweed strap.
Our pairings can be compared to choosing a fine wine at a fancy restaurant. A sommelier might suggest a perfect wine to compliment the flavour of a meal. But perhaps you would not like to drink a Shiraz that day, instead prefering to try a Merlot. You can choose to have it the way that you like it.
The same goes for our straps. Our watch and strap pairings are by no means final and we want our supporters to have free reign on their strap choices. This is why supporters who have (and would like to) purchase a Saltire will be given two extra straps, forming a full set of three straps.
The tweed and leather straps both share two of the same features:
They are both made with a quick-release mechanisms. This makes it extremely handy for when you would like to change straps (see video below for demonstration).
Secondly, the underside material is made from extremely soft and waterproof calf leather, making them a comfortable wear, even in the wet.
Please take a look at them below.

The tweed straps were made using Herringbone Shetland Tweed, from Lochcarron of Scotland, which is situated in Selkirk, in the Scottish borders. It is made from 100% Pure New Wool, and is therefore delightfully soft.

Returning to the production of the Saltire Collection.
All pieces of the watch have been manufactured except for the dials. The progress has been slow with dials because of our experimental approach to the process. I am very happy to say that during this past week, we had a monumental breakthrough and it is looking like we will have the dials finished this coming week.
Once the dials are completed, we then move on to the assembling stage. You will have the Saltire on your wrist very soon after that.
If you would like to reserve your own numbered Saltire, please reply to this email. We will get back to you shortly after.
